City Council Members Yolanda Avila and Richard Skorman invite the public to attend a community Town Hall to discuss issues impacting Council Districts three and four. Meadows Park Community Center is near the border of Council Districts three (Skorman) and four (Avila). Major topics of discussion will include the Urban Renewal project along the South Nevada corridor, public safety and transportation.
There will be representatives from the Urban Renewal Authority, CSPD and Metro Transit to help answer questions. The format will allow for open dialogue between attendees, the elected officials and City staff.

Addressing Homelessness: A Community Call to Action Expo

Continuing collaborative efforts to address homelessness, the City, CONO, the Pikes Peak Community Health Partnership and 20 local service providers will host an expo-style event.
The event offers concerned residents the opportunity to learn what the City is doing to address the issue, to familiarize themselves with local service providers working in the area and to find opportunities to volunteer, donate or engage with these organizations.📷
