Climate Rally 2020

Join us in Denver, CO to show the outdoor community's support of youth activists and rally around climate change. We're rallying at the Colorado Capitol on January 31st, while our industry is convened in Denver, to show that our community will not tolerate federal government inaction on climate. Our industry and community at large are responsible for harnessing our collective power to drive systemic change. The Climate Rally is a women-led, grassroots demonstration of the outdoor community’s commitment to climate action. We stand with the youth activists who have been leading the call on the climate crisis. Public Logic and Accuracy Test on Voting Equipment

Hosted by El Paso County Clerk & Recorder Feb 4 at 10 AM – Feb 6 at 8 AM El Paso County Clerk & Recorder   Peterson Counting Room, 2203 1675 Garden of the Gods Rd, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907

The Clerk and Recorder’s Office will conduct a public Logic and Accuracy test (L&A) on all ballot counting equipment that will be used for the 2020 Presidential Primary Election. This includes the Central Count Optical Scanners, and Voter Service and Polling Center ballot marking devices. The L&A test will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4. The testing will continue until completion, which the Clerk’s Office anticipates will be Thursday, February 6.

El Paso County Candidate Forum

The El Paso County Democratic Party and the El Paso County Colorado Progressive Veterans are co-sponsoring a Political Forum featuring Candidates and representative's from the Presidential, Senatorial and Congressional (CD5) campaigns (there are a total of 12) will be there to make their case as to why you should vote for them and then we will open up the Forum to questions from the audience. We are inviting the press, to include TV and our Newspapers. We will have 30 minutes before and after the Forum for attendees to talk to the candidates or, in the case of the Presidential Candidates, their representatives. We will be in the Venue Room, which seats 400. Come early for the best seats. 📷FEB 9
