Our new 4th Thursday Film Series presents 4 short films that promote an understanding of racial profiling and its effects on our country and community. Screenings are at All Souls Unitarian Church.
• Fumiko Hayashida: The Woman Behind the Symbol • A Conversation with My Black Son • What Does My Hijab Mean to You? • A Conversation with Native Americans about Race
A panel discussion follows the films with representatives of Colorado Springs African American and Muslim communities and the Colorado Springs Police Department. Thursday, February 28 – 7 pm. (Church doors open at 6:30)
