We have amazing democratic candidates for Governor for 2018. In order to get them on the ballot, you MUST affiliate with the Democratic Party by Jan 8, 2018, and you must caucus for Gubernatorial candidate of your choice.
Propositions 107 and 108 affecting presidential primaries and unaffiliated voters are measures which will only allow an unaffiliated voter to vote in a primary (in June) but they do not allow unaffiliated voters to participate in caucuses - (Good, Bad or otherwise.)
The respective parties (Democratic or Republican) are the only vehicles for getting any candidate onto the ballot (unless a candidate petitions onto the ballot after the fact, which is expensive and a lot of work). The democratic candidates must get over 30% of the votes at the assembly. Please caucus, please participate in YOUR DEMOCRACY because your participation matters!
