Will I Get a Ballot Mailed to Me?
Check your voter registration at govotecolorado.com. Ensure your address is correct and that your registration status is Active. If you are not Active, you will not get a ballot mailed to you. Update your registration with your correct address to reactivate.
What if I Don't Receive a Ballot?
Ballots will be mailed out on Oct. 9, 2020. If you have not received a ballot yet when Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) open on Oct. 19, you may go to a VSPC to get new mail-in ballot. You may also register to vote and vote at VSPCs.
What State Should I Vote In?
If you're an out of state student going to college in Colorado or a Colorado resident going to school out of state, you might wonder what state you should vote in. Below is a helpful article explaining how to make your choice.
General Election Ballots Mailed to Voters
A ballot will be mailed by the El Paso County Clerk & Recorders Office to all active registered voters on October 9, 2020.
Last Day Recommended to Return Ballot by Mail
Last day the county recommends returning your ballot by mail. Your ballot will only be counted if it arrives at the Clerk & Recorder's Office by 7PM, November 3, 2020. Postmarks don't count.
Note: Please do not drop off your ballot in another county. There is no guarantee it will arrive in El Paso county on time.
Last Day to Register to Vote and Still Receive a Ballot in the Mail.
After this date, you can still get a ballot at a Voter Service & Polling Center.
Visit a VSPC in person to register to vote, get your mail-in ballot reprinted or vote in person. All VSPCs also have ballot drop boxes.
