Bylaws Update
Not having been updated for four years, the El Paso County Democratic Party Bylaws have undergone a major revision in 2021 by the Bylaws and Rules Committee. In the upcoming Central Committee Meeting, we will vote on whether or not to accept these changes. The changes include reorganizing the document for readability and clarity. Due to the major structural changes to that end, revisions in the document are not marked. Please see the presentation below for highlights of the changes made. Note that all links in the PDF document are clickable including the page numbers in the table of contents.

How To Propose An Amendment to the Proposed Bylaws

All voting will take place online with an opportunity to complete your vote in-person at the meeting.  Those who cannot attend the live meeting, either in-person or virtually, will still have the opportunity to vote through an extended voting period. No proxies or alternates will be allowed. Committee members will receive an email with detailed voting instructions approximately 3 days prior to the meeting. The voting period is tentatively set to Thursday, Aug. 19 @ 8:00 AM - Sunday, Aug. 22 @ 8:00 AM.
