Join us on Wednesday, June 19th to discuss Mental Health: A Crisis in Colorado, a Gazette Community Conversation. We have assembled a panel of experts on all sides of the Mental Health issue to answer your questions, make their cases and better educate everyone on the best way forward for the mental health crisis facing Colorado.

Native Roots Grand Opening

Colorado Springs newest cannabis dispensary. In 2018, Native Roots was voted Best Marijuana Dispensary with Best Budtenders. The Cannabist readers have voted and voiced their opinion. Native Roots is a winner for best marijuana dispensary in Colorado and have the top budtenders across the state. Native Roots offers frequent Veteran discounts.

EPCCPV will have a membership registration table at this event.

Jun 23 PopCycle Family Rides

Hosted by Kids on Bikes Sunday 1-3PM America The Beautiful Park 126 Cimino Dr, Colorado Springs,  80903

Come pedal with us! These weekly family rides are to promote community, biking and local trails. All ages and abilities welcome (Strider bikes not recommended). The ride is 6 miles round trip along the Pikes Peak Greenway trail at a very relaxed pace with very little street crossings. We have popsicles half way on what has affectionately become known as the Popcycle Bridge.

Every Sunday 1:00pm-3:00pm

Public Meeting for S. Nevada/Ivywild Transportation Improvements

Hosted by City of Colorado Springs Government Monday, June 24, 2019 at 5:30 PM – 7 PM Ivywild School

The City of Colorado Springs is initiating several transportation improvements projects in the South Nevada Urban Renewal and Ivywild areas beginning in June. The City is coordinating each project to minimize impacts to the community and traveling public; however, to take advantage of the construction season, there will be some overlap in timing of construction.

The public is invited to learn more about the projects and construction phasing.

“When police raided the Stonewall Inn, a popular gay bar in the Greenwich Village section of New York City on June 28, 1969, the street erupted into violent protests that lasted for the next six days. The Stonewall riots, as they came to be known, marked a major turning point in the modern gay civil rights movement in the United States and around the world.” The showing will be followed by a panel discussion about the gay rights movement and how it has impacted our community.  Films begin at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.)

Get involved to make Colorado a home for all of us in the future! Burgers & dogs on the grill, beer & margaritas & a lemonade stand! Family-friendly games and events.
